SHOP TO STOP BREAST CANCER

Returns on March 15, 2010!

On March 15, 2010 the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Riverside will be transformed into a fabulous "one-hour boutique" as The Marriott Riverside once again presents "Shop to Stop Breast Cancer". This unique event raises funds to support Inland Agency's The Pink Ribbon Place, Riverside's first (and only!) breast cancer resource center!

What makes this event unique is that attendees receive a dollar for dollar (plus a bonus, for those giving at a higher level!) match for their entry fee in "Inland Agency Bucks" which they then use to "shop" in our boutique, filled with all kinds of wonderful items. Last year, over 200 people attended, and helped us raise more than $56,000 to support our breast health programs, providing free cancer screening to uninsured and underinsured women of all ages. This year, we have expanded through The Pink Ribbon Place to offer a variety of free support services to breast cancer patients, survivors and their families. Our goal this year is to raise $60,000 to continue these programs. With the beautiful items that are already filling our boutique we are confident we will reach our goal, but we can't do it without you. Please plan to join us! You will be in great company. There are many ways you can help! We accept donations of items for our boutique year round! If you or someone you know has high quality, new or antique items (small pieces of furniture, electronics, antiques, art, crystal, china, jewelry, sporting goods appliances or household decor) to donate please call Jodee Palmer at (951) 241-8723 ext. 224 or send us an email. Your donations are tax deductible - and better yet, they are truly life-saving!
